Final Demonstration

March 2, 2010
In the final demostration, I observed a lot from one of the fourth year student who conducted her final demonstration. In terms of personality, I admired her very much because her voice,posture and gesture were very appropriate as a will be educator except for some of her visual materials. For Grade 3 pupils, I think colorful materials should be used to catch the attention of the pupils,but then some of her materials were very beautiful. And I also observed that,she didn't encourage the pupils to answer in complete sentence.

Observation of Activity

February 11,2010
This is my fourth observation in Don Emilio. When I entered the room,the pupils were too busy in doing their group activity. The activity was all about the Location of Different Places in the Locality in Filipino subject. All of them were very cooperative in sketching the given location they drew them according to the instruction,for example the church was located at the north of the school,then they drew the church at the north or upper part of the manila paper. As what I observe,they were enjoying and very cooperative.

Local Demonstrations

February 2, 2010

The 4th year students in Don Emilio conducted a Local Demostration which observed by some teachers and sophomore students. Emalyn and I were assigned to observe at the same room. My observation with that 4th year student is,he has a good local demonstration because he can facilitate his pupils very well. He has a group activity,recitation and of course evaluation. What topic he gave in the group activity is the same with recitation and evaluation,so that the students can easily understand and remember the lesson. According to the evaluation,the teacher said it was passed.

My Second Observation

January 26, 2010

Oh...it was my second observation. It is almost a half day. The principal assigned me to the same cooperating teacher that I had last semester,so it was not so difficult. As I entered the room,the pupils greeted me,as usual tha the elementary pupils did. Some of them remembered my name but the others did not. As what I observed last semester,it is the same,the pupils were very cooperative so that they had a very good discussion. The teacher go out for a few minutes while the students are writing. But the students were already finish but the teacher was not yet return so I decided to teach them a song so that tey will not get noisy and stand up as they want. After I was finished,the teacher came and continue the discussion. After the class,the teacher conducted a remedial in mathematics,the pupils were actively participated.

Family Day in Don Emilio

I don't know where to start.It is like a diary where I put all the events that happen.But the only difference is,it is all about what I observe at the school where I was assigned.The first observation I hadat Don Emilio last Jan.22,2010 was very interested,because they celebrate Family Day wherein the parents and pupils were together.They conducted different games and also they have raffle draw which is intended for all.I also observe the 4th year students helping the teachers to have a successful flow of program.They contrbuted a lot.But I decided to go home erlier although the program is not yet done.That's what happened during my first obseration.
